
Bryant Breaks Outdoor Long Jump Record on Opening Day of Seahawk Invitational
The Coker men's track and field team recorded two top-ten finishes on day one of the Seahawk Invitational.
WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Coker College men's track and field team picked up a pair of top-ten finishes on Friday (Mar. 10) during day one of the UNCW Seahawk Invitational.
Marcus Bryant put together a strong showing in the long jump, recording a leap of 6.83 meters, breaking the previous outdoor record by .08 meters. His record-breaking performance was good enough for seventh place.
Brandon Mullins finished fifth in the men's 800-meter dash, running a time of 1:58.26.
The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday (Mar. 11) for day two of the Seahawk Invitational.
