Cobras Take Part in Winthrop Invitational

The Coker men's track & field team took part in the Winthrop Invitational on Saturday (Mar. 28).

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Coker Cobra men's track & field team took part in the Winthrop Invitational on Saturday (Mar. 28).

Two Cobra runners placed in the 400-meter hurdles, Naim Fareed and Brandon Gambrell. Fareed placed twelfth in the event with a time of 57.70 seconds, while Gambrell cam in fourteenth with a time of 1:00.57.

Gambrell also placed in long jump. He came in 20^th place with a distance of 6.15 meters.

The Cobras will now take a break until the South Atlantic Conference Championship on April 17.
