The Cobras were able to get one back in the top of the following inning, with Mya Cribbs drawing a walk with bases loaded to score Ashton Goodwin. The Lions got that one back in the bottom of that same inning, but then the Cobras scored on a solo shot by Bailee Gaskins to put it back within three at 5-2.
