- Game 1 vs Tusculum: The Pioneers came out with their bats hot in the first game, jumping out to a 12-0 lead in the fourth inning. The Cobras scored two runs in the top of the fifth, but the beginning of a late comeback wasn't quite enough as the Cobras fell in five innings to the Pioneers.
- Game 2 vs Tusculum: The Pioneers raced out to another lead in this one, going up 4-0 in the first three innings of play. The Cobras clawed back to a one-run deficit at 4-3, after which the Pioneers made it 6-3. The Cobras made this one a great game, tying it up 6-6 heading into the bottom of the seventh, but Tusculum walked it off in the bottom of the inning to take the 7-6 win.
