Last Time Out
- Game 1 vs Fayetteville State: Cruising to victory in a dominant 11-0 victory, the Cobras got the scoring started in the bottom of the first. Fair got on base and broke the stolen base record and also scored a run in what was a dominant outing overall. Madie Andrews had 1 hit in 2 at-bats, 1 RBI, and a complete-game shutout with five strikeouts. Payton Brigman also had a stellar game, recording 2 hits in 3 at-bats, 2 runs, and 3 RBIs.
- Game 2 vs Fayetteville State: A much closer game than the first, the Cobras walked away with a 12-11 victory that was called in the fifth inning due to weather. Down 11-10 with runners on second and third, Brigman came in clutch with a bases-clearing walk-off triple to win 12-11 in a heart-racing contest. She had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 1 run, and 3 RBIs to record consecutive multi-hit games.
- Game 1 vs Augusta: A comeback was cut short by the Jags as Augusta pulled out a 6-4 victory here in Hartsville. Augusta jumped out to an early 4-0 lead with three runs in the top of the first and another in the top of the third. In the bottom of the third, the Cobras struck back, cutting the deficit to just two runs at 4-2. Augusta stretched it back to a four-run lead at 6-2, but the Cobras had an answer to make it 6-4. Unfortunately, it ended at that same scoreline, but the Cobras had some stellar performances. Mya Cribbs was the highlight, having 2 hits in 2 at-bats, 1 run, and 2 walks in this Game 1.
- Game 2 vs Augusta: Another game that had the Cobras rally late also ended in an unfortunate 10-7 loss. The Cobras got the bats going late to cut into a nine-run deficit and fought valiantly until the very last out. Freeman and Cheyenne Palmer starred in this one, with Palmer recording 4 hits in 4 at-bats and 2 RBIs. Freeman, who also recorded a multi-hit game, had 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 1 RBI.
