The Coker University Softball Team traveled to Lander University on Tuesday, February 6th.

Game 1: Lander 9, Coker 0

In Game 1 Lander would pull away with a two hit shut out vs. the Cobras.

Kelsi Scott and Ariana Fair, both picked up a hits in the game. Both coming in the top of the fourth inning vs. Lander.

On The Mound:

Abbie McCants and Madie Andrews both took to the mound in this game for the Cobras striking out three batters combined while only allowing two walks, facing a combined 30 batters between the two Cobra pitchers.

Game 2: Lander 8, Coker 0

In Game 2, Coker would collect five total hits as a group. Two coming off the bat of their third baseman, Grace Chambers. Chambers would collect both a double in the top of the first and a single in her next at bat in the top of the third for the Cobras. Kelsi Scott, Cameron Jackson, and Cheyenne Palmer also collected hits on the day for the Cobras.

On The Mound

Tibby Hessian, Caroline Holmes, and Cheyenne Palmer, all came in to pitch for the Cobras in Game 2. Hessian would go 2.2 innings while tallying the lone strike out in Game 2 for the Cobras. Palmer would come in the fourth to pitch and would go on to allow 0 runs across the board.
