HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker University softball team dropped its conference doubleheader to Carson-Newman today by scores of 6-5 and 11-2 today (April 19).
Carson Newman would take game one 5-6 as the Cobras comeback from Ariana Fair's 3 RBI home run fell short.
In Game two the Cobras would jump out to a 1-0 lead through the first. The Eagles would jump out to a 6-1 lead through three innings. In the fourth, Bailey Douglas would send a solo home run over the outfield fence to bring the game score to 6-2. The Eagles would score four more runs in the fifth and the sixth to take game two 11-2.
