Coker Softball Anticipating NCAA Softball Selection Show

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The No. 4 NCAA Division II Southeast regionally ranked Coker softball team is anticipating the NCAA Division II Softball Selection Show that will be airing live on Monday (May 7) at 10 a.m. EST on NCAA.com. The Cobras will find out who they will be playing and where they will be playing during the show.

Cobra fans are encouraged to join the softball team at the DeLoach Center main gymnasium at 10 a.m. to watch the show live. If you cannot make it to Coker to view the show, you can watch it live on NCAA.com. Additionally, there will be a live stream on the Cobra Sports Network where you can watch the players reactions live from the DeLoach Center by visiting www.livestream.com/cokercobras.

The Cobras currently sport a 35-16 record and finished as runner-ups in the South Atlantic Conference Championships. The No. 1 team in the region, North Georgia, was handed their first loss of the season by the Cobras in March. Coker split their regular season series with No. 4 Queens (N.C.), defeating them handily in the SAC semifinals, and No. 10 North Greenville. Next, the Navy and Gold went on to sweep No. 6 Carson-Newman in regular season action, but fell to the Eagles in the championship game.

In the friendly confines of Saleeby-Stokes Field, Coker is an impressive 15-3 on the season. To start 2018, the team went 14-0 and most recently won 11 of their last 14 games.
