Coker's Barcomb Named AstroTurf SAC Softball Player of the Week

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College softball player Tayler Barcomb has been named the Astroturf South Atlantic Conference Softball Player of the Week, the League office announced today.

Barcomb, a senior from St. George, SC, finished the weekend with a .714 (5-7) batting average with four doubles, four RBIs and three runs scored. She also swiped two stolen bases over the weekend. Her play helped propel the Cobras to a double-header sweep against Southern Wesleyan on Feb. 4. The honor is her first Player of the Week selection this season.

She was a second team All-SAC preseason selection.

Barcomb is a biology major. She is the daughter of Karen and Peter Barcomb
