2013-14 Individual Stats

2013-14: A second team All-SAC selection, Weatherford was an offensive catalyst for the Cobras this year as she led the team in hits (44), doubles (11), homeruns (7), RBI (39), and slugging percentage (.631).  She was also second on the team in runs scored with 21 and triples with three.

2012-13 Individual Stats

2012-13: As a second team All-Conference selection, Weatherford had an outstanding year both offensively and defensively.  She played in all 44 games for the Cobras and had a batting average of .305.  Weatherford connected on 43 hits, scored 24 runs and drove in a team leading 37 RBIs.  She also had a team high 13 doubles and six homeruns that included two grand slams.  From center field she had 72 put outs, five assists, and one double play. 

2011-12 Individual Stats

2011-12: A First Team All-Conference selection, Weatherford hit a team leading .348 in 43 games. She had nine home runs, three triples and 13 doubles. She drove in 42 runs, scored 30 runs and stolen seven bases. She has 11 multi-hit games, including a two home run five RBI performance against Wingate (2/11).

2010-11: Weatherford played in 44 games for Coker during 2011, and hit .240 (29-for-121).  Sydney stole 10 bases while also hitting three home runs.  She posted a .380 on-base percentage and drove in 17 runs.

High School:  Weatherford was the SCISA Player of the Year 2010, was a two-time All-Region selection and was named All-State at Carolina Academy. She was also a North/South All-Star selection.

Personal: Daughter of Deanna and Joey Weatherford...she has a brother Reggie that plays baseball at Francis Marion.
