
Softball’s Skipper Tabbed Conference Pitcher of the Week
Breanna Skipper was recognized as the top pitcher in the conference today.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College softball player Breanna Skipper has been named Conference Carolinas Softball Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced today.
Skipper, a freshman, tossed a complete-game shutout in the Cobras' eight-inning victory over Barton. She allowed just two hits and struck out four. For the year, Skipper is 3-1 with a 1.17 ERA and eight strikeouts in 24 innings.
Breanna is a biology major from Bennettsville, S.C. She is the daughter of Robert and Mary Skipper.
The Coker softball team is 7-4 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
