2012-13: The senior outfielder had an outstanding year at the plate, leading the team in batting average (.358), slugging percentage (.470), on base percentage (.403), while only striking out three times all year.  In 40 games, Rountree had 48 hits, scored 24 runs, and drove in 14 batters.  She also had seven doubles, one triple and two homeruns.    In the field she contributed 57 putouts and one assist with a fielding percentage of .983.  Her high caliber level of play landed her a spot on the All-Conference First team.    

2011-12 Individual Stats

2011-12: Rountree played in all 43 games for the Cobras, hitting .297 with a team leading 20 stolen bases. She was also the team leader in runs scored (34). She drove in 16 runs and had seven doubles. She had three multi-stolen base games, including two games with three stolen bases against Mount Olive (3/14) and West Liberty (3/15). She had a perfect 5-for-5 game at the plate against Columbia College (2/14).

2010-11: In 45 games Rountree hit .290 (45-for-155) with 18 runs batted in.  Rountree had a total of seven extra base hits with an on-base percentage of .313 with 12 stolen bases.

2009-10: Rountree played in 17 games and started in 16 of the 17.  She hit .160 (8-for-50) with five runs batted in and five stolen bases. Her season was shortened due to a broken leg.

High School: Rountree was a three sport standout at Archbishop McCarthy High School. The two-time Archbishop Female Athlete of the Year was also named All-County in soccer, softball and golf, while receiving Academic Second Honors for four years and she was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Becky and Buddy Rountree...Sarah is one of just a handful of two-sport athletes at Coker. She is also a member of the Cobra women's soccer team.
