TIGERVILLE, S.C. – Sydney Weatherford (Scranton, S.C.) was 4-for-7 with a double, an RBI and a run scored leading the Cobras at the plate in their doubleheader loss to North Greenville University on Saturday.

The Cobras lost game one 5-2 and lost game two 4-3 in extra innings.

Katie Lee (Debray, Fla.) (3-2) suffered the loss in game one. She allowed five runs on six hits in 4.1 innings of work. She also fanned five batters.

Jordan Atkinson (Bishopville, S.C.) (1-2) took the loss in game two. She went 7.1 innings, allowing four runs on nine hits with four strikeouts.

In addition to Weatherford's solid day at the plate, Stacy Burr (Darlington, S.C.) was 2-for-6 with a home run, her seventh of the season. Jaclin Poole (Clover, S.C.) also had a pair of hits and drove in two runs.

Coker will travel to St. Andrews University for their next Conference Carolinas doubleheader on Sunday starting at 2 p.m.
