Coker's Lee Named Conference Carolinas Softball Pitcher of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Coker College's Katie Lee has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Softball Pitcher of the Week during week number five of the 2012 season.

Lee had a masterful outing last week, going 1-0 with an 8-0, six inning shutout win against Barton College. She was nearly untouchable allowing just one hit with eight strikeouts in the win. Lee is now 2-1 on the year with a 2.74 ERA, with 15 strikeouts in 23 innings on the hill.
