COBRAS FINISH 12TH IN SAC CHAMPIONSHIP

Newberry, SC - The Coker Cobras recently competed in the SAC Cross Country Conference Championship hosted at Newberry College. The Cobras finished the 8k competition in 12th with a team score of (66, 71, 75, 76, 78) 366

The cobras were led to the finish line by senior Austin Bates with an impressive 30:25. Bates was closely followed by his fellow senior Josh Zeigler who finished with a time of 30:58. The next cobra to cross the finish line was Junior Nicholas Hallis with a time of 31:52 along with Phillip Davis who finished with a time of 32:00. Then the final cobra to cross the finish line was the freshman Cody Stewart who completed the race in 32:40.

Coach Galloway and the rest of the Coker track and field staff want to thank seniors Austin Bates and Josh Ziegler for all the hard work and leadership they have brought to the cross-country team over the past four years.
