Bates Sets The Pace As Cobra's Compete in SAC Championship Meet

The Coker Men's Cross Country Team wrapped up their 2023 season at the SAC Championship Meet at Southside Park in Newton, N.C.

• Leading the way for the Cobras was Senior Austin Bates, led the Cobras coming in 81st overall and finishing with a time of 26:45.05, which is 7th all time in program history.
• Following Bates was Senior Josh Zeigler, who ran a 28:48.10.
• Junior Nicholas Hallis was not far behind Zeigler, as he finished with a time of 29:08.62.
• Junior Phillip Davis was the fourth runner in for Coker, clocking in with a time of 30:37.98.
• Junior Jamie Muldowney was the fifth runner in for Coker, as he finished with a time of 33:07.76.
