Coker Men’s Cross Country Competes in Charleston Classic

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Coker University men's cross country team traveled to Charleston, S.C.  to compete in the Charleston Classic on Saturday (Oct. 5).

Riley Cushing came in first for the Cobras with a time of 30:53.3, while Murishi Irankunda was close behind and had his personal best with a time of 31:11.8.

The Cobras finished with a team score of 132 placing them ahead of South Carolina State and Chowan by 16 points.

Coker will be back in action on Friday (Oct. 11) when they travel to Charlotte, N.C. to compete in the Royals XC Challenge. Race time is slated for 5:00 p.m.
