
Track & Field headed to the SAC Indoor Championships
Hartsville, SC: Track and Field will be traveling to compete in the SAC Indoor Championship hosted by the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, NC. This will be a two-day event taking place on March 1st and 2nd.

COBRA CORNER:
- Dakota Jernigan was named SAC Indoor Women's Field Athlete of the Week.
- Dakota Jernigan was 1st place in the high jump at the USC Gamecock Invite.
- Jeffery Stiles took 1st place in the 200m at the Camel City Invitational.
- Donovan Jones and Jeffery Stiles have run NCAA Qualifying times so far this year.
- Jernigan and Stiles have both broken Coker University records.
LAST TIME OUT
Last time out saw the Cobras bring home the gold in the women's high jump. Dakota Jernigan took first place in the women's high jump with a final jump of 1.61 meters. To go along with Jernigan's performance the Cobras had 4 other top 10 finishes. Lyniah Kitt had a great outing as she finished 6th in the Triple Jump with a final distance of 6th place. Kitt's performance also earned her a ranking of 90th best female triple jump athlete in division 2. Jeffery Stiles took 7th place in the 200-meter final with a final time of 21.94 seconds. Patience Lisbon was the next Cobra to earn a top 10 finish as she finished in 10th place in the women's 200 meters with a final time of 26.54. Then the final Cobra to earn a top-10 finish at the USC Invite was Tyriq Gause in the men's triple jump. Gause had a final distance of 12.89 meters which earned himself a 10th place finish.
