Cobras Get Four Top Ten Performances on Final Day of Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational

The Coker University Men's Track & Field team traveled to Myrtle Beach, SC, to compete on the final day of the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational.

100m (Finals)

In the 100m Finals, the Cobras were able to secure two top-five finishes. Yazeare Pearsall-Garcia finished in third place overall, crossing the line with a time of 10.58. Jeffery Stiles was able to earn a fifth-place finish for the Cobras, clocking in at a time of 10.64.

200m

In the 200m, Donovan Jones was able to capture the third top ten performance of the day for the Cobras, running a 21.70, which would place him tenth overall.

800m (Collegiate)

In the Collegiate 800m, Phillip Davis took the track for the Cobras running a 2:05.00.

Shot Put

In the Shot Put, Jaden Wright would finish first for the Cobras, throwing a PR of 8.49m. Rounding out the field for the Cobras, Chayse Davis would throw a distance of 7.71m.

4x400m

In the 4x400m, the team of, Jeffery Stiles, Phillip Davis, Donovan Jones, & Yazeare Pearsall-Garcia, was able to earn the Cobra's third top-five finish on the day, running a combined time of 3:23.05, securing a fifth-place finish for the team.
