Jones Finishes 6th as Cobras Finish Indoor Season with SAC Indoor Championship
The Coker Men's Track team finished up their indoor season on the second day of the SAC Indoor Championship meet.
200m Finals
In the 200m finals, Coker would see Yazeare Pearsall-Garcia finish in seventh place on the day, crossing the line with a time of 22.51.
400m Finals
In the 400m finals, Coker would see Donovan Jones get a sixth-place finish overall in the race, running a 50.60 setting a new PR for Jones in the process.
Overall
Overall, Coker was able to have a productive Championship weekend, seeing a school record in Pole Vault from Luke Baker. As well as a personal best from Jones who would run a 50.60 in the 400m finals.
Up Next for Coker
Coker will now have two weeks to prepare for their outdoor season, as their first meet will be on Friday, March 15th, at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational.
