Men's Track and Field Competes In Mondo College Invitational

Winston-Salem, NC - Coker men's track and field had a strong showing in the Mondo Invitational. In the Men's 60m event, Jeffrey Stiles finished on the podium in 3rd place with a time of 6.90 seconds, followed closely by Yazeare Pearsall-Garcia in 6th place with a time of 6.93 seconds. In the qualifying round of the Men's 60m, William Frazier finished in 53rd place with a time of 8.10 seconds.

In the Men's 200m event, Donovan Jones finished in 5th place with a time of 23.09 seconds, while Luke Baker finished in 46th place with a time of 27.13 seconds.

In the Men's 800m event, Phillip Davis finished in 32nd place with a time of 2:14.01, followed by Josh Zeigler in 35th place with a time of 2:18.19, and Nicholas Hallis in 37th place with a time of 2:24.88.

Austin Bates had a strong performance in the Men's 1000m event, finishing in 6th place with a time of 2:42.82. In the Men's 1 Mile event, Josh Zeigler finished in 33rd place with a time of 5:05.29.

In the Men's Shot Put event, Jaden Wright threw a distance of 6.48m (21-03.25), finishing in 36th place.

The Coker men's track and field team also had success in the Men's 4x400 Meter Relay, with the 'A' team consisting of Donovan Jones, Jeffrey Stiles, Phillip Davis, and Yazeare Pearsall-Garcia finishing in 3rd place with a time of 3:35.78. Overall, the team had a solid performance in the competition.
