How It Happened
It was a great start in doubles play, with the Cobras taking wins on courts two and three to clinch the doubles point. Both pairs of Lamers/Huynh and Van Asdonck/Pugliese found themselves in great positions, comfortably winning their matches. Unfortunately, the momentum swung in favor of the Cavaliers in singles. The first four matches off were UVA-Wise wins, and it was them walking away with the 4-1 win.
Notables
- Lamers was battling in a match at one singles before things ended, winning the first set and on serve in the second
- Huynh, the other match that was unfinished, also took a first-set win
