MEN'S TENNIS LOOKS TO KNOCK OFF FMU IN CROSS-TOWN RIVALRY
Florence, SC - After two nail-biting matches to start off the season, the Cobras will look to take victory number two on Saturday as they head to Florence to take on Francis Marion!

Cobra Corner
- Samuel Winter is 4-0 overall to begin the season, 2-0 in doubles and 2-0 in singles. In singles, he recorded a huge three-set victory against Lander to tie the match score at 3-3, then recorded a victory in straight sets in their 4-3 win over North Greenville. He has partnered with Benedikt Wittmann to earn a 7-5 win over Augusta and a 6-2 win over North Greenville.
- Andy Huynh is another Cobra that remains undefeated in dual matchplay. He has yet to drop a set this year in singles in wins over Augusta and North Greenville, along with remaining undefeated in doubles with partner Joao Casas Moreira
Last Time Out
- The Cobras pulled out an absolute nail-biter against the Trailblazers of North Greenville with a 4-3 final scoreline
- Winter partnered with Wittmann at second doubles to secure a 6-2 win, and Casas partnered with Huynh at third doubles to secure the doubles point with a 6-3 win
- After a loss at the second singles spot tied it at 1-1, Winter dominated at the third spot to take the lead back at 2-1
- Tied 2-2 after a loss at first singles, Huynh took care of business at the five spot to make this a 3-2 lead in favor of the Cobras
- Casas pulled out the three-set victory at the six spot to take home a great road win for the Cobras
