Cobra Corner
North Greenville has had a quick start to their season, already playing four matches as opposed to the Cobras' one. Coincidentally, the Trailblazers' first five matches (including tomorrow against the Cobras) are against South Atlantic Conference opponents. They include one loss to Anderson (2-5) and three wins over Limestone (4-3), Mars Hill (7-0), and Emory & Henry (6-1). They will look to get a win on the road and also get a gauge of the upcoming SAC competition later this season.
Last Time Out
The Cobras had a battle on their hands in the first match of the season, ultimately dropping a 4-3 decision to Augusta yesterday at home. After winning the doubles point, the Cobras found themselves down 1-3 and needed to win the three remaining courts to take the victory. After wins by Andy Huynh on court five and Samuel Winter on court three, it was back even at 3-3. It came down to a third-setter on court two in which the Jaguars got the better of the Cobras to deliver Coker a 3-4 loss.
Follow along with Coker Men's Tennis as they look to spring back into action tomorrow!
