SIMPSON ANNOUNCES 2025 MEN'S TENNIS SCHEDULE

Hartsville, SC - After qualifying for the conference tournament in 2024, Coker Men's Tennis has announced its Spring 2025 slate of matches!

The fall slate was a productive one for the Cobras, getting a feel for what they have through playing a series of invitationals and tournaments. Now, heading into their spring slate, they will play strictly dual matches, starting in early February.

The Cobras will open up their season with a slate of non-conference outings, starting with hosting Augusta on February 5th. They will host one other contest that month, with Lander coming to town on the 17th. Lander is currently receiving votes in the national poll, so that will be a marquee matchup early on in the season. Their out-of-conference away slate takes them to North Greenville (February 8th), Francis Marion (February 15th), two opponents to be determined in the Sumter Invitational (February 21st and 22nd), and Mount Olive (March 1st).

The conference slate begins with the final match of February, heading to Anderson to face off against the Trojans on February 26th. After the Mount Olive contest to start the month, they will play conference matches the rest of the season beginning with a home slate featuring #9 Wingate (March 5th), Lincoln Memorial (March 8th), and Limestone (March 11th). They will then head on the road for a stretch of four games to face off against Tusculum (March 15th), UVA-Wise (March 16th), Emory & Henry (March 21st), and Carson-Newman (March 22nd). They finish off the month hosting Lenoir-Rhyne on March 25th.

The Cobras will finish their season in April, opening up with a nationally-ranked contest in the form of the #21 Catawba Indians on April 2nd. They finish their regular season at home with a senior day contest against Mars Hill on April 5th and a matchup against Newberry on April 8th.
