Hartsville, SC - Men's tennis took a 6-1 loss this afternoon to South Atlantic Conference foe Catawba in a match that was rescheduled from last month.

The Cobras dropped all three doubles matches to head down 0-1 into singles play. They needed a spark to take this one as four singles wins were necessary, but ultimately couldn't find them. The bright spot on the day was at third singles, where Samuel Winter grabbed an 8-6 win for the lone Cobras point.

The Cobras will now shift their focus and look to bounce back this weekend, heading up to Mars Hill on Saturday in some more South Atlantic Conference action. First serve for that one is scheduled for 1:00 PM ET.
