Smith Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Tennis Player of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Coker University freshman Nolan Smith was named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week, announced by the league today (Feb. 28).
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Coker University freshman Nolan Smith was named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week, announced by the league today (Feb. 28).
Smith won the deciding match at Newberry on Saturday (Feb. 26), as he was victorious at No. 6 singles by a 7-6, 7-5 scoreline.
This is Smith's first career Player of the Week honor.
The Blue Mountains, Ontario, Canada native is the son of John Smith and Claire Sweeney-Smith, and is a political science major.
