Cobras Upend Tusculum for South Atlantic Conference Win on Saturday

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker University men's tennis team upended Tusculum for a South Atlantic Conference victory on Saturday (Mar. 7) by a score of 4-3.

Coker won two out of three doubles matches to secure the doubles point, before taking three singles matches for the victory.

Tim Schroeder and Justus Lehmann teamed up for a 6-2 win over Gabriel Yaguar and Manuel Almeida at No. 1 doubles, before Isaac MacMillan and Hunter Horton posted a 6-3 victory over Leon Huck and Jacco Mensinga at No. 3 doubles.

Lehmann would defeat Frank Bonacia at No. 2 singles 6-3, 2-6, 6-2, before Carlos Pinedo would defeat Vadzim Raitsou 6-1, 6-2 at No. 5. MacMillan would close things out with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 victory over Milan Jankovic at No. 6.

The Cobras (6-0, 1-0 SAC) return to action on Wednesday (Mar. 11) when they travel to Lenoir-Rhyne for a South Atlantic Conference contest. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m.
