Krall Wins Twice, Cobras Fall to Pioneers
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Coker College men's tennis team fell to Tusculum in South Atlantic Conference action on Saturday (Mar. 16).
Melwin Krall picked up a pair of wins, defeating his Tusculum opponents in both #1 doubles, and #1 singles. Krall teamed with Max Sturgess to take down Tusculum's #1 doubles team 6-4, and then defeated David Akinpetide 6-4, 6-4 in #1 singles.
Pablo Gonzalo-Saul was victorious again for the Cobras, picking up a 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 victory in #5 singles. He improves to 5-4 in singles action on the season.
The Cobras will be back in action on Tuesday (Mar. 19) when they host Newberry for more South Atlantic Conference action. Matches are scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m.
