Coker Men's Tennis Sweeps Benedict 7-0
COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Coker College men's tennis team swept the Benedict Tigers 7-0 on Saturday (Mar. 2).
Melwin Krall, Max Sturgess, Justus Lehmann, and Isaac MacMillan each picked up victories in both doubles and singles on the day. Krall won in #1 doubles with Sturgess (6-4), and then picked up a #1 singles victory (6-2, 6-2) as well.
Hunter Horton and Pablo Gonzalo-Saul had singles victory also, with Gonazlo-Saul winning the only three-set match of the day (6-1, 3-6, 6-4).
The Cobras will be back in action on Tuesday (Mar. 5) when they travel to Myrtle Beach for the Spring TennisFest, and face Mercyhurst at 8:30 a.m.
