Lehmann, Sturgess, and MacMillan Lead Coker Men's Tennis to 5-2 Defeat of Southern Wesleyan

CENTRAL, S.C. -- The Coker College men's tennis team notched an impressive 5-2 victory over Southern Wesleyan on Wednesday (Feb. 13).

Justus Lehmann, Max Sturgess, and Isaac MacMillan had especially good days, picking up wins in both doubles and singles matches.

Lehman and MacMillan teamed up to pick up a victory in #2 doubles, and then Lehman won his #3 singles match (6-2, 6-2) while MacMillan won his #5 singles contest (6-2, 6-1).

Meanwhile, Sturgess teamed with Melwin Krall to win in #1 doubles, and then picked up a 6-3, 6-0 #4 singles victory himself.

Pablo Gonzalo-Saul was dominant in his #6 singles match, winning by a final of 6-0, 6-1.

The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Mars Hill and open South Atlantic Conference action against the Lions. Matches are set to start at 2 p.m.
