
Cobras Fall to Pfeiffer on Sunday
Coker fell in a tough match to regional foe Pfeiffer on Sunday.

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker men's tennis dropped its non-conference match to Pfeiffer 5-4 on Sunday (Feb. 26).
The Cobras led 2-1 after doubles play, with Henrik Hellbe and Hunter Horton winning 9-8 at No. 1. Felix Schweyer and Walker Long earned the 8-5 win at No. 3.
Mark Watt put Coker in a good spot with a 0-6, 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1, before Pfeiffer would go on a run and clinch the match. Long would win at No. 6 in straight sets 6-1, 7-5 for the Cobras.
The Cobras are back at home on Saturday (March 4) when they host Belmont Abbey at the Coker tennis courts at 2:00 p.m.
