
Cobras Pick Up SAC Win Over Brevard on Sunday
Coker started off conference play in a big way with their win on Sunday.

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker men's tennis picked up an 8-1 win over Brevard on Sunday (Feb. 5) to open up South Atlantic Conference play.
Henrik Hellbe and Hunter Horton picked up an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles, while Mark Watt and Dominic Allan won at No. 2 doubles 8-3. Felix Schweyer and Simon Bergbom completed the sweep with an 8-5 win at No. 3 doubles.
Watt picked up a straight sets (6-1, 6-4) win at No. 1 singles, while Hellbe picked up a 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles. Horton (No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-3) and Schweyer (No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-1) both picked up straight set wins, and Long earned a 6-3, 4-6, 10-3 win at No. 6 singles.
The Cobras will travel to Sumter for the weekend (Feb. 10-12) to compete in a tournament hosted by The Citadel. Play is set to start at 10:00 a.m. at the Sumter Tennis Center.
