
Coker Men Knock off Mars Hill, Secure SAC Championship berth
Five Cobras won both their singles and doubles matches on the afternoon.

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker men's tennis defeated Mars Hill 8-1 on Senior Day (Saturday, April 16) to secure a berth in the South Atlantic Conference Championships.
The home team swept doubles play, kick started by William Marrafao and Henrik Hellbe winning 8-6 at No. 1. Tom Sizeland and Mark Watt picked up an 8-3 win at No. 2, while Simon Bergbom and Felix Schweyer completed the sweep with an 8-1 win.
Marrafao (No. 1, 6-1, 6-3), Sizeland (No. 2, 6-2, 6-0) and Watt (No. 3, 6-3, 6-1) all swept their singles matches in straight sets. Bergbom notched an 8-4 win at No. 5 singles while Schweyer finished the win off with an 8-0 win at No. 6 singles.
The Cobras will move on to the South Atlantic Conference Championships at a site and date to be determined.
