Coker Wins Non-Conference Match 6-3 over Davis and Elkins
The Coker men's tennis team picked up a 6-3 win on Saturday (Mar. 7) afternoon.
HILTON HEAD, S.C – The Coker men's tennis team picked up a non-conference win 6-3 to Davis and Elkins College on Saturday (Mar. 7) afternoon.
Coker swept the doubles portion of play with 8-4, 8-2 and 8-1 wins at No. 1 doubles, No. 2 doubles and No. 3 doubles, respectively. Mark Watt would come away with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles, while Felix Schweyer notched a 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 5 singles. Dominic Allan would collect the last win for the Cobras at No. 6 singles with a 6-2, 6-2 win.
The Cobras will take on Florida Tech in its next match on Monday (Mar. 9).
