Emory, VA – Cobra Men's Soccer put on yet another dominant performance, defeating the Wasps of Emory & Henry 4-0 in road conference play.
The first half was a stalemate with both teams being unable to gain any separation from each other. Coker outshot E&H 12-0 in the first period of play but could not take the lead.
The second half, however, was much different. Within the span of two minutes, two goals were scored to go up 2-0 within the first six minutes of the period. Later in the contest, the Cobras scored two more to round out the scoring at 4-0 in this one.
Oskar Kaufmann once again led the Cobras with a goal and an assist. Other goal scorers included Youri Keijser, Frederic Benedix, and Rodrigo Tostado, with Leo Souza and Tom Dixon providing assists.
The Cobras are quickly back in action, traveling to Florence on Wednesday to take on the Patriots of Francis Marion. Kickoff for that contest will be at 7:00 PM ET.
