Salisbury, NC - Another day, another victory for the Cobra Men's Soccer team as they take down the Catawba Indians 3-1 on the road in South Atlantic Conference play.
The Cobras, much like in their game against the Railsplitters this past Saturday, got out to a hot start in the first half, scoring the first two goals to take the lead in the first period of play. Both Frederic Benedix and Jesper Schierholz scored unassisted goals, with Schierholz putting a mark in the scoring column for the first time this season.
Catawba responded with a goal before the halftime whistle to cut it to 2-1 However, Coker continued their stellar play in the second half, with Oskar Kaufmann netting his sixth goal on the season off a Vitalis Takawira Jr assist to wrap up the scoring in this one at 3-1.
The Cobras will play a Sunday game this weekend, traveling to Emory, VA to take on the Wasps of Emory & Henry. That contest will kick off at 2:00 PM ET
