Hartsville, SC - The closest this game was came at the starting whistle, as the Cobras started fast out of the gate en route to a dominant 5-1 win over RV Lincoln Memorial.
The story in this one was great ball movement, with all five goals coming off assists by respective Cobra athletes. Coker's three first-half goals allowed them to take a 3-0 lead heading into the halftime break, but it didn't end there. After getting scored on and LMU cutting this to a 3-1 lead, Coker zoomed out and scored two more in the second half to put the nail in the coffin.
Oskar Kaufmann was the feature in this one, notching 2 goals and 1 assist to lead the charge. Frederic Benedix notched a goal and an assist of his own, with Matty Tricker and Mitchell Starrs providing the other two goals. The other three assists came from Youri Keijser, Connor Duggan, and Rafa Reno.
The Cobras will be back in action this week, traveling to Catawba on Wednesday for more South Atlantic Conference action. Kick-off for that contest is scheduled for 5:00 PM ET
