Hartsville, SC - In a tightly contested match-up between two South Atlantic Conference teams with national recognition, the Saints of Limestone came out with the victory in Hartsville.
A defensive game through and through, there were only three shots on goal combined between the two teams. Vitalis Takawira Jr. had the Cobras' lone shot on goal which was saved by the Limestone keeper. The difference-maker came with under two minutes remaining in the first half to put the Saints up 1-0. From there, it was a tense game filled with defense galore until the final whistle blew and the Saints marched out of Hartsville with the win.
The Cobras are back in action on Wednesday when they head on the road to face Chowan. Kick-off for that game is scheduled for 4:00 PM ET.
