HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker University men's soccer team played to a scoreless draw with regional foe Francis Marion on Wednesday (Sept. 7).
Each team had several chances throughout the contest, putting shots just wide or on net, but defense prevailed in the match.
Coker out-shot FMU 19-5 in the match, with four shots coming from Nikola Sotra and three each coming from Colin Serredszum, Frederic Benedix and Ché Richards. Celestin Blondel had two shots in the match, while Lukas Berntsson, Luca Leonini, Tony Barry and Matty Tricker each had one. Jasper Rump (1-1-2) made one save between the pipes for his second consecutive clean sheet.
