Jacques Fokam-Sandeu Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Coker University men's soccer junior forward Jacques Fokam-Sandeu has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District First Team, announced by the organization today (Thursday, Nov. 11).

Fokam-Sandeu has been the Cobras leading scorer this season, ranking second in the South Atlantic Conference in goals (13) and also being tied for the team lead in assists (four) and tied for second in the league in points (30). Fokam-Sandeu earned his second career First Team All-Conference honor earlier this week, while also being named the SPC Credit Union September Student-Athlete of the Month. In his career, Fokam-Sandeu was also named to the 2019 SAC All-Conference First Team.

Academically, Fokam-Sandeu has received the 2020-21 D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award and also been named to the South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll twice.

This is Fokam-Sandeu's first career Academic All-District honor.

The Paris, France native is the son of Jean, and a business administration major with a concentration in entrepreneurship.
