ANDERSON, S.C. - The Coker University men's soccer team lost to Anderson University (S.C.) by a score of 1-0 on the road on Thursday (Feb.18).
Coker held Anderson in check in the first half, as the teams went into the halftime break knotted up at 0-0. However, the Trojans struck midway through the second half, as Tevin Lessy scored in the 70th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Neither of the teams scored from there as Anderson slipped away with the win.
Adam Kennedy, Alexandros Doulos and Gabin Guillou led the team with two shots on goal for the day, while Connor McCallister also recorded two shots for the Cobras. In goal, senior Guilermo Falo Ejea made nine saves.
