Coker Men's Soccer Inks Four
Coker College head men's soccer coach Chris Williams announced the addition of four players to the 2017-18 roster.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head men's soccer coach Chris Williams announced the addition of GG Setoh, Jacob Adams (pictured), Cameron McDonald and Connor Yost to the 2017-18 roster. Adams, McDonald and Yost will enroll in August 2017, while Setoh enrolled at Coker in January 2017.
Adams is a three-sport athlete at Summerville High School, where he letters in soccer, football and basketball for the Green Wave. On the pitch, he is a four-year varsity starter and led Summerville in goals and assists during the 2016 season. In the classroom, he is a four-year honor roll recipient and a member of the National Honor Society.
He is the son of Suzanne and Edward Adams and plans on majoring in mathematics and business.
McDonald is a Davie, Fla. native, where he attends West Broward High School and is a member of the varsity soccer team for the Bobcats. Off the field, he is a member of the honor roll.
He is the son of Bonnie McDonald and plans on majoring in business.
Setoh attended Windsor High School in Savannah, Ga., where he was a member of the soccer team for the Knights. He was a first team all-region selection his senior season, scoring 27 goals and dishing out nine assists. He was a coach's award winner, a region MVP and a region champion. In the classroom, he was a member of the honor roll.
He is the son of Josephine and Francois Setoh. He plans on majoring in chemistry.
Yost, a native of Chino Hills, Calif., attends Chino Hills High School where he is a member of the soccer team for the Huskies. On the pitch, he was the team's defensive MVP, a second team all-league selection and a scholar athlete.
He is the son of Lorene and Gary Yost. He plans on majoring in exercise science.
