Coker Men's Soccer Named 2015-16 NSCAA Academic Award Winner

KANSAS CITY. MO. – The Coker College men's soccer team was named a 2015-16 College Team Academic Award winner, the National Soccer Coaches Association Of America announced today.

The Cobras finished the 2015-16 academic year with a team GPA of 3.15.

"I am so proud of this accomplishment," said head men's soccer coach Chris Williams. "This award is a direct reflection of the hard work these guys put in to being the best student-athlete and representative of Coker men's soccer and athletic department possible."

To qualify for the award, the team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the entire academic year. The team GPA is determined by adding every player's GPA, then dividing by the number of players.
