NEWBERRY, S.C. – The Coker College men's soccer team fell to the Newberry College Wolves by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday (Sept. 21) in a South Atlantic Conference road matchup. 

The opening half would be a defensive battle between the two sides, with Coker firing the lone shot on goal in the opening 45 minutes. The teams headed into the half tied at zero.

The Wolves made their push in the late stages of the second half, netting two goals in the final 13 minutes to pick up the 2-0 win.

Jarrian Cutrer, Aladdin Elfares, Alvaro Urena, Mads Aagurd and Christian Amtoft all notched one shot on goal in the match.

Michael Ritterbeck collected one save between the pipes.

The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday (Sept. 24) when they travel to Catawba for a SAC matchup. Opening kick is set for 7:30 p.m.
