HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker men's soccer team lost a tough match to the Anderson Trojans, 1-0, in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action on Saturday (Sept. 20) night.
After a scoreless first half of play, it looked as if the match may go into overtime, but a Trojan goal in the 82nd minute gave Anderson the victory.
Kyndle Cobb made five stops in the goal for the Cobras and Matt Taylor led the offensive attack with a pair of shots, both of which were on frame.
The Cobras will return to the field on Wednesday (Sept. 24) for a SAC match at home versus Lenoir-Rhyne. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
