Cobra Men's Soccer to Take on Emmanuel in Season Opener
The Coker men's soccer team will host the Lions of Emmanuel College on Thursday (Sept. 4) at 7 p.m.

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's soccer team will play host to the Emmanuel College Lions on Thursday (Sept.4) in a non-conference match-up. The match will be broadcast live online at www.cokercobras.com.
The Cobras come into the home opener ranked No. 6 in the South Atlantic Conference preseason poll, after finishing the 2013 campaign at 9-5-3. They will be led by the preseason first team All-SAC duo of senior midfielder Tony Quiroz and senior defender Fernando Bedoya. Senior midfielder Jordan Snell is also a key returner, as he was a member of the 2013 All-SAC honorable mention team.
The Lions come to Hartsville after going 10-9 during the 2013 season.
Game time is set for 7 p.m. at the Coker College Soccer Field. Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
