Coker College Men's Soccer Ranked No. 5 in the Region

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's soccer team is ranked 5th in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and Continental Tire Division II Men's Southeast Region poll.

The Cobras are coming off a 1-0-1 week that included a 0-0 draw against local rival Francis Marion University, and a 2-1 double-overtime win against Anderson University. Against Francis Marion, freshman Kyndle Cobb posted the first shutout of his collegiate career. In the Anderson match, it was senior Stephen Scrivens who  stole the show, scoring both of the Coker's goals.

Also joining Coker in this week's rankings from the SAC are Anderson (No. 7), Lenoir-Rhyne (No. 8) and Queens (No. 9).

Coker continues its season with a South Atlantic Conference matchup with Lenoir-Rhyne at 7 p.m. Wednesday on the road.
