
Men's Soccer Ready to Face Barton
The Coker men's soccer team will play host to Barton College in their first home match in nearly a month on Thrusday (Oct. 4).

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Cobra men's soccer team will take on Barton College in the nightcap of a Conference Carolinas double-header on Thursday (Oct. 4). Live broadcast and video coverage of the game is available at www.cokercobras.com.
Coker is coming off a tough 1-0 overtime loss against Lees-McRae. The Cobras have won four of their last five matches, all on the road. The last time the men played at home was back on Sept. 4 against Florida Tech.
Senior Niko Tirkkonen is the leading goal-scorer for the Cobras with four so far this season, including two game-winners.
The Barton Bulldogs are 3-5-1 on the season. In their last match the Bulldogs defeated King College 2-0. They are currently in the middle of a four-match road trip and are 2-2 in league play.
The match is scheduled to kick-off at 7 p.m. at the Coker Soccer Field.
