HIGH POINT, N.C.- Coker College's Carlos Recinos has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas men's soccer Player of the Week during week number seven in the 2011 season.

Recinos helped the nationally ranked No. 11 Coker Cobras to another perfect 2-0 record for the week with a pair of game-winning goals. The first came in the Cobras' 3-2 win over regionally ranked No. 6 Lander and his second goal came in Coker's 1-0 win over regionally ranked No. 5 Limestone. The junior from Houston, Texas had a hand in every single goal scored by the Cobras this week, scoring two and assisting on another in the Lander match and scoring the lone goal in the Limestone match.

On the year Recinos leads the Cobras in goals (10), assists (8) and points (28). The Cobras currently stand at 12-1 overall and 7-0 in league play.
